	03/21/2007 McAndrews, Held & Malloy Secures Significant Victory for Client Stryker Corporation
	CHICAGO, IL – March 21, 2007 – McAndrews, Held & Malloy announced today that it has secured a significant victory for its client Stryker Corporation (NYSE: SYK), one of the world's leading medical device companies, in a case involving surgical plates used to fix broken wrist bones. The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division, entered an order granting summary judgment of noninfringement on behalf of Stryker and dismissing with prejudice the patent infringement lawsuit brought by TriMed, Inc. TriMed had alleged that Stryker’s Universal Distal Radius and VariAx Distal Radius plate systems infringe U.S. Patent No. 5,931,839.
