Dunstan Barnes to Speak at IPO Annual Meeting

On Monday, Sept. 19 from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Pacific, Dunstan will discuss design patent basics and advantages as part of a panel exploring “Design Rights and Trade Dress: Maximizing Your IP Strategy.” His co-panelists will delve into trade dress basics and advantages and functionality at the intersection of design patents and trade dress. As such, the panel will cover both of these forms of intellectual property, when and why one might be used over the other, recent case examples, and protection strategies.
