McAndrews’ Two-Time Summer Associate Dorien Clark Honored with the 2020 American Intellectual Property Law Association Past Presidents Award

Congratulations to Dorien Clark for being awarded the 2020 American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Past Presidents Award, a merit-based scholarship award recognizing a diverse law student who has excelled in the study of intellectual property law. Dorien is starting his 3L year at UIC John Marshall Law School, where he is the Lead Articles Editor for the UIC Review of Intellectual Property Law.

Law schools are each allowed to nominate only one underrepresented racial or ethnic minority law student who has exemplified excellence in intellectual property academic studies, is interested in pursuing a career in IP law, and has shown leadership in IP-related student activities for consideration. Dorien be recognized at the 2020 AIPLA Annual Meeting on October 22-24 in Washington DC.
