Sharon Hwang Recognized with Diversity Leadership Award

On Thursday, February 8, the Asian American Bar Association of Chicago (AABA) recognized Sharon Hwang as the recipient of their Law Firm Partner Diversity Leadership Award during the organization’s 36th annual installation ceremony and awards reception. The award is given to a lawyer with an exceptional track record of collaborative leadership in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession. Sharon’s diversity efforts and accolades throughout her career are many. She also oversees the McAndrews Diversity Committee and was chair of the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms following her ten years on its board. In addition, she is the past president of the AABA Chicago, of which McAndrews is a proud supporter.
