Christopher V. Carani Elected Chair of AIPPI-US

McAndrews, Held & Malloy Shareholder Christopher V. Carani was elected Chair of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, U.S. National Group. (AIPPI-US).
Carani has been involved in the organization for many years. He has served as a member of the AIPPI-US Board of Directors since 2014, chair of the Design Rights Committee beginning in 2015, chair of AIPPI’s 2016 Resolution on the issue of Design Functionality and vice president of AIPPI-US from 2018.
AIPPI is an international organization of more than 9,000 business executives, patent attorneys, patent agents, and trademark agents, as well as judges, scientists, and engineers. AIPPI has members in more than 125 countries and operates mainly through national groups such as the US Group, AIPPI-US.
