Speakers will provide individualized feedback on claim drafting and amendments and practical techniques for avoiding prosecution pitfalls. The workshop is largely organized into concurrent sessions that address;

  • Advance Specification Drafting Issues
  • Advance Claim Drafting Issues
  • Advanced Patent Prosecution Issues
  • Advanced Amendment Drafting

Dr. Rasheed will address topics as they relate to the Biotechnology industry and Dr. Singer and Mr. Wheeler as they relate to the Chemical/Pharmaceutical industries.

PLI has also arranged for other speakers to present on the America Invents Act and its implementation by the Patent and Trademark Office, including the new post-grant review and inter partes review systems.

This program is designed for private or corporate practitioners with patent experience who wish to improve their general claim drafting and amendment writing skills. For more event information, including a full list of speakers and topics, and to register, click here.
