Michael’s practice focuses on patent litigation and patent prosecution. His practice spans a variety of technical fields, including medical devices, surgical instruments, medical-grade packaging, software systems, and more.
Michael received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. While there, he served as a mediator in New York City’s civil court and as an editor for Fordham’s Intellectual Property Law Journal. He was also awarded the Archibald R. Murray Award for Public Service. Michael is currently a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) IP Section Council and serves on committees for the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) and the Illinois Intellectual Property Alliance (ILIPA).
In his free time, Michael enjoys reading, sports (especially golf), and playing guitar.
