McAndrews Welcomes Associate Madeline Paradkar to the Firm

Madeline Paradkar’s practice focuses on patent litigation in the medical device and life sciences industries.

Madeline graduated magna cum laude from UIC Law School with a concentration in intellectual property law and specializing in patents. While in law school, Madeline received six top grade awards and worked as a research assistant for a project focusing on third-party litigation funding for insolvency proceedings. She was a Law Review staff editor and a teaching assistant for appellate advocacy, and she participated in the Giles S. Rich Patent Law Moot Court competition. Her writing accomplishments include having an article published in the Journal of Healthcare, Ethics and Administration and a recognition for best petitioner’s brief in UIC’s Moot Court Honors program.

Prior to law school, Madeline attended La Salle University and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She was an NCAA Division I swimmer and competed at the Canadian Olympic trials at 17 years old.
