Madeline P. Paradkar AssociateMadeline Paradkar is an Associate at McAndrews, focusing on patent litigation. Prior to joining as a full-time associate, Madeline worked at the firm as a summer associate where she focused on patent litigation, pre-suit investigations and assessment, motion practice, and advanced legal research. Madeline graduated magna cum laude from UIC Law School with a concentration in intellectual property law and specializing in patents. During her time there, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Charles P. Kocoras in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Madeline also received six top grade awards and worked as a research assistant for a project focusing on third-party litigation funding for insolvency proceedings in the United States. She was also a Law Review staff editor and a teaching assistant for appellate advocacy, and she participated in the Giles S. Rich Patent Law Moot Court competition. Her writing accomplishments include having an article published in the Journal of Healthcare, Ethics and Administration and a recognition for best petitioner’s brief in UIC’s Moot Court Honors program. Prior to law school, Madeline attended La Salle University and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She was an NCAA Division I swimmer and competed at the Canadian Olympic trials at 17 years old. EDUCATION
