As part of their USA Chapter of ICLG’s Copyright 2024, Chris, Dunstan, Sarine, and Khalfani provided an update on a significant case law development. A jury in Los Angeles recently cleared celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D of copyright infringement after she tattooed award-winning photographer Jeffery Sedlik’s iconic photo of the famous jazz musician Miles Davis on a co-worker’s arm.
