Sarine R. Hagopian is a Partner at McAndrews whose practice focuses on design protection, design portfolio management, corporate intellectual property strategy, and freedom to operate analyses. Sarine has experience in a wide range of IP-related areas of law, including intellectual property due diligence, utility and design patent prosecution, patent litigation, and ANDA litigation. Her work has involved a wide variety of technology areas, such as innovative nutritional products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and packaging.

Sarine graduated magna cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she served as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Chicago-Kent Law Review. During law school, Sarine received CALI awards for the highest grades in both her legal writing and ethics and advocacy classes. She was inducted into the Order of the Coif in 2018.

Prior to law school, Sarine graduated cum laude from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
