McAndrews, Held & Malloy Shareholder Christopher V. Carani, Esq., A/IDSA, will present at the Industrial Designers Society of America’s (IDSA) 2016 Northeast District Design Conference: I am a Designer, April 29-30, in New York City. Carani, who is nationally recognized in the field of design law, is the only attorney among the list of speakers, which includes designers from General Motors, Google and PepsiCo.
Carani’s presentation, titled “Intellectual Property: 5 Do’s and 5 Don’ts for Product Designers,” was created based on real questions from event participants in the months leading up to the conference. The format – called “Ask Me Anything” – was implemented to create a highly interactive experience between presenters, participants and sponsors.
