nation’s leading intellectual property law firms. In addition, Chairman Emeritus George P. McAndrews and
Chairman Timothy J. Malloy, both founding partners of the firm, were recognized by Chambers as two

and Company, the leading case directed to the scope of patent protection for medical devices, obtaining
a $166 million judgment for infringement and obtaining a $5 million award of attorney’s fees for an
exceptional case. Tim has been repeatedly listed in Best Lawyers, and was featured in the inaugural IAM
1000: The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners. He was also previously listed by Chambers & Partners
as one of the top IP trial lawyers in Illinois and characterized as an “Outstanding Trial Lawyer,” and has
been designated a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an honorary society comprised of less
than one-half of one percent of American trial lawyers.
