Prior to entering the field of law, Pahnke worked as a hardware engineer, helping to design industrial operator interface products. He received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, and a B.S.E.E. from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisc.

“I’ve wanted to expand my practice into additional areas of IP law, particularly client counseling and due-diligence matters, and McAndrews was the best place for me to hone those skills for my clients,” said Pahnke. “The firm has been incredibly supportive in terms of promoting direct client engagement and collaboration to resolve clients’ issues, and has provided excellent opportunities for me to work alongside some of the best and most experienced IP attorneys.”
