Garrett C. Muscott AssociateGarrett C. Muscott is an Associate at McAndrews, focusing on patent litigation in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, specifically Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA litigation, as well as patent prosecution. Prior to joining the firm as a full-time associate, Garrett worked as a summer associate. Garrett received his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. During his time there, he earned the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for the highest grade in his advanced legal research course. Prior to law school, Garrett attended the University of Michigan, where he received his B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology: Biomedical Engineering. Garrett also earned his M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering and his M.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan. While in graduate school, Garrett was a graduate student instructor for undergraduate genetics laboratory students. In his free time, Garrett enjoys golf, Michigan football, Detroit sports, and cooking. EDUCATION
