Andrew W. Mills AssociateAndrew W. Mills is an Associate at McAndrews whose practice focuses on patent litigation and prosecution as well as trademark and copyright disputes. Prior to joining the firm as a full-time associate, Andrew worked as a summer associate, focusing on patent litigation, pre-suit investigations and assessment, motion practice, and patent prosecution in a variety of technical areas. Andrew earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he received the award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy and won first place and best oralist in the Southern region of the International Trademark Association’s Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. Andrew was also an active member of the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Space Law Society. Prior to law school, Andrew earned his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University. Earlier in his career, Andrew worked as an engineer in the mining and automotive industries before managing manufacturer quality in the consumer electronics sector. In his free time, Andrew is a competitive pinball player and has served as a docent at Chicago’s Field Museum of Natural History. EDUCATION
