Wayne H. Bradley ShareholderWayne Bradley is a Shareholder at McAndrews. His field of expertise is wireless communications, and his experience includes patent prosecution, due diligence and litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Wayne developed commercial products for the cellular industry. He began his career in Motorola’s Corporate Research Division. In 1995, Wayne joined the fabless semiconductor company, PrairieComm. PrairieComm’s digital baseband processors have been used in phones sold by Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Siemens and Motorola. Wayne was an inventor at PrairieComm during its growth from just three to more than 200 engineers. At PrairieComm, Wayne was in charge of Physical Layer Architecture, Modem Development and Intellectual Property, and gained firsthand experience designing hardware and programming software for IS-136, GSM, EDGE, CDMA, and UMTS. Wayne holds 12 patents related to cellular technology and has been involved in the prosecution of more than 100 patent applications. Wayne has also trained engineers in digital communication theory and the patent process. Experience gained by working in all stages of product development gives Wayne an advantage in determining the most valuable aspects of new technology and identifying alternative solutions where necessary.
