Jacqueline Vega is an Associate at McAndrews, focusing on patent prosecution in the chemical and life sciences spaces. Prior to joining the firm as a full-time associate, Jacqueline worked as a summer associate, gaining experience in a variety of utility and design patent prosecution matters, as well as litigation matters.

Jacqueline graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in May of 2025. During her time there, she served on the board of the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Latinx Law Student Association. While completing law school, Jacqueline worked for a pharmaceutical start-up company assisting in the management of patent portfolios and various other intellectual property matters.

Prior to law school, Jacqueline graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering. After her undergraduate studies, Jacqueline worked for an intellectual property law search firm for two years, focusing on patents related to chemicals, life sciences, and consumer products.
