As part of McAndrews’ long-standing commitment to fostering a diverse work environment, the firm is proud to offer its annual “Diversity in Patent Law Fellowship” as part of our summer associates program. The Fellowship includes a $15,000 stipend and paid summer associate compensation to a qualified first-year student of an ABA-accredited law school. The individual chosen must possess a diverse background, a technical degree in science or engineering, and a commitment to pursuing a patent law career in Chicago. As a summer associate, the Diversity Fellow gains crucial experience in a wide range of IP and complex technology matters, is mentored by a senior member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, and is eligible for a second clerkship in the firm’s summer program. Applications will be accepted until January 15.
